Our beautifully converted accommodation is just 20 minutes from some of France’s most unspoiled beaches, the Coast of Granite Rose. Coat Ar Roux, located in Cotes d’Armor, North Brittany, between Morlaix (20km) and Guingamp (30km), is an 8 acre secluded woodland plot surrounded by woods and farmland. It was built on what was an ancient cotton mill, one of eight that stood in the Lannion region in the 14th – 17th century.

The Farmhouse
The four bed-roomed Farmhouse can accommodate 8 people plus a cot. We have 2 large double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. The Farmhouse has a wonderful ambience; it has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The property has central heating and log burning stoves.

The Farmhouse
There are beamed ceilings, terracotta tiles on the floor, huge granite fireplaces at either end of the room with wood-burning stoves inside. In the lounge area there are 3 settees and a satellite TV, DVD player and radio. The kitchen area is well equipped with dishwasher, full gas cooker, fridge/freezer, plenty of cupboard space and every utensil you can think of. The dining area has a farmhouse table, chairs and an antique dresser with numerous games and books.

The Grange
The Grange is a modern barn conversion with 2 large bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room and a walk-in wardrobe. The second large bedroom can accommodate three people. Both rooms are beautifully furnished.Downstairs you’ll find a further shower room and WC. The main room is open plan with a corner kitchen and dining area. The feature staircase in the centre of the room separates the sitting area from the kitchen and dining area.

The Grange
The sitting room has an L shaped sofa and it offers TV and DVD player. This end of the room has a good-burning stove; there is electric heating as well. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, gas cooker, microwave and much more. The antique furniture in the dining area blends well with the modern pieces.

The Cottage
Adjoining the Grange, is a Breton style one bed-roomed cottage with en suite shower room and walk in wardrobe. Downstairs is one large room with a kitchen corner and a lounge area. The property is furnished with antique Breton furniture, the kitchen corner is well equipped with full gas cooker and microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee making machine. The terrace is shared with the Grange, however, has its own garden furniture and BBQ.
